Here are all the new models - and new looks for older models - that we've found so far in the The War Within Pre‑Patch. For all the looks that can be tamed once the full expansion launches please see our The War Within Pet Guide. There aren't quite as many new tames in this pre-expansion patch - mostly because this is the first expansion without any new pet families at launch - but there are some really nice ones!
Grong, the second boss in the Horde version of the Battle of Dazar'alor raid, is finally tameable! Unfortunately, because of the nature of this raid, only Horde players can access and tame him.

Grong the Revenant, the third boss in the Alliance version of the Battle of Dazar'alor raid, is finally tameable! Unfortunately, because of the nature of this raid, only Alliance players can access and tame him.

This eerie and very cool chimeric beast is a boss in the Uldir raid in Zandalar. While it's probably not strictly a hydra, that family is still the closest fit we have.

These new crab looks are both rare NPCs in Island Expeditions and can be difficult to find. You may have to check dozens and dozens of islands before you find one.

Rezan may have met an untimely end, but you can now tame his reanimated form in Atal'Dazar and seek revenge!

These new toad looks are from a limited range of islands in Island Expeditions and are difficult to find. To top it off, most are also only found on rare NPCs. You may have to (a) wait for a week when appropriate islands are up, and (b) be prepared to check dozens and dozens of islands before you find any of these toads at all, let alone an NPC with the look you want.

T'zala, a beautifully-detailed undead ravasaur, is summoned by the final boss in the Kings' Rest dungeon when his health decreases to around 40-60%.

These wolves with cloth bands on their legs and tails are finally tameable! All seven are rares in Island Expeditions so you'll need to (a) focus on islands where they could spawn and (b) be prepared to run those islands many times in order to find the rare you want. The textures these beasts use are actually from the seven wolf mounts, but applied to the non-mount model.
