| Found on rock ledges half way up the cliff on the east and north-east sides of Tyrhold Reservoir. They respawn quickly, so if the colour you're after isn't present you can just keep taming and releasing gryphons until it appears. | |||
Level scaling: Most NPCs will scale with the Hunter's level, within the constraints of their level range. Hunters can tame regular NPCs up to 2 levels higher than them, but can only tame elite NPCs of the hunter's level or below.
